Connect Tencent Meeting

Tencent Meeting holds the recordings of the interviews and customer calls your team already ran. Importing their transcripts lets an audience use those words.

An app belongs to one enterprise, so there is no shared iMario app to authorize: an admin in your own enterprise creates one. Publishing to Tencent's app marketplace is a separate application with a security report and a review, and it only matters for reaching other companies — an app for your own use needs none of it.

Before you start

• Your enterprise is on a paid plan (企业版, 商业版 or 教育版). Developer roles are not available to free organisations, and cloud recording with transcription is a paid feature anyway.
• The meetings you want were recorded to the cloud with transcription on. iMario reads text, not audio, and cannot create a transcript that does not exist.

What your admin does, once

1. Open the Tencent Meeting open platform → 应用管理 → create an enterprise self-built application (企业自建应用).

2. In the app's 基本信息, note the SDK ID and the App Secret, and your enterprise's corp_id. iMario asks for all three.

3. Set the redirect address to exactly:

   https://api.imario.ai/api/connections/callback

4. Under the app's permissions, grant 查看企业录制 (view enterprise recordings). Without it the recording list comes back empty.

5. The user who will authorize also needs the recording permission on their role: 用户管理 → 角色管理 → 账户管理 → 录制管理 → 查看.

Note that only the meeting's own creator can list a recording. If your interviews are hosted by several people, each of them connects once.

Connect in iMario

1. In Create audience, click Connect a data system and choose Tencent Meeting.
2. Paste the SDK ID, App Secret and Enterprise ID (corp_id).
3. Click Connect to Tencent Meeting and approve on Tencent's own page.
4. Your cloud recordings from the last year are listed by meeting subject and date. Search the list if it is long, then tick the ones to use.
5. Click Import.

What iMario reads

The list of your cloud recordings, and for each one you tick, its transcript file. Tencent produces that transcript itself and offers it as txt, pdf or docs; iMario downloads the txt and reads nothing else — no video, no audio, no meeting content beyond the recordings you chose.

Tencent publishes no attendee address on these endpoints, so a Tencent Meeting recording shapes how the whole audience speaks rather than being attached to one individual. To attach words to a specific customer, use a source that carries an address, such as a survey export.

Troubleshooting

The recording list is empty. Either the app is missing 查看企业录制, or the connecting user is not the creator of those meetings, or the meetings were recorded locally rather than to the cloud.

A recording imports with no words. It has no transcript. Tencent only transcribes when the meeting was recorded to the cloud with transcription enabled, and that setting is not retroactive.

Authorization fails immediately. Check the redirect address character for character, and that the corp_id belongs to the same enterprise as the SDK ID.
