Run one focused question and decide what to investigate next.

A single question is the fastest way to explore an audience. It can produce a distribution for a closed question or themes and responses for an open one.
Set it up
- Open New Task and select an accessible audience.
- Keep Default in the + menu.
- Write the question. Include necessary context without telling respondents which answer you prefer.
- Check task type, respondent count and cost before submitting.
For example:
What is the main reason you would avoid buying groceries through a delivery app?
For fixed choices, state the options explicitly. Use the Survey builder when you need direct control over question type and options.
What would you like to find out?
What would make you hesitate before trying grocery delivery?

Prepare your first study
Use the selector above the composer. Read the definition before selecting.
Read the result
Confirm what question actually ran. Compare the leading answer with minority responses, then open Explorer to inspect the people behind an answer.
An open theme's prevalence describes the modelled responses and coding in that run. It is not a measured population rate. Do not combine results from different questions as though they have identical denominators.
Cost and next steps
A closed single-choice question costs 1 credit per respondent; an open question costs 2. Different inferred formats may cost differently. Read the rate card and the task estimate.
If the result is too broad, narrow the question or audience. If you need several comparable questions, save a Survey. Re-running is new research; explaining existing results is a different request.
