Connect Knowledge to an Individual

Supply relevant background and check how it supports later responses.

Connect a Knowledge Base when an individual needs background beyond its profile, such as product documentation or past company decisions.

Connect the material

  1. Open Capabilities.
  2. Under Knowledge, choose Connect or Manage.
  3. Select the base and files to use.
  4. Review any identity conflict and save.

Use relevant material. Giving a first-time customer internal strategy changes the perspective being modelled; it is not automatically better grounding.

How knowledge is used

Direct chat can retrieve material and expose source citations. Inspect whether each citation supports the statement.

Generation-time context is different: material used to build a profile may already have influenced it. Updating a file does not retroactively rewrite the profile or earlier answers.

Do not assume identical live retrieval and citations in every research runner. For a study that depends on specific material, attach it explicitly to the task and check what the run used.

Verify and update

Ask a focused question in Chat and inspect its sources. Adjust irrelevant or outdated files through Knowledge Base management.

Use audience evidence for data defining an entire customer population.
