# Share and Export

> Send a report or exported results with enough context for another person to interpret them.

Use sharing for a browser-readable report and export for a file you can include in another document. The available actions depend on the result surface you are viewing.

## Share a report

Open the report and use **Share** in its action area. Review the link's access description before copying it. A public report link can be opened by someone who has the URL; do not treat it as restricted simply because you sent it to one person.

Use the share control to revoke a report link when you no longer want it accessible. A downloaded file cannot be revoked by turning off its original share link.

## Export

Open the report's download menu and choose an available format. Report exports support document-oriented formats such as PDF, Markdown and PowerPoint; use the options offered by that report. Explorer also provides a row export for examining responses outside the interface.

Verify the downloaded output contains the scope you intend to share. A report document and a row export serve different purposes; neither should be assumed to include every hidden panel or filter automatically.

## Preserve the context

Include the question or stimulus, audience definition, respondent count, included runs and limitations. For a filtered group, record the selection criteria. Label modelled responses as synthetic rather than presenting them as interviews conducted with real people.
