# Older Workflows and Bookmarks

> Find the current route when a saved task or older tutorial uses canvas, Solo or Studio terminology.

Source: https://imario.ai/docs/resources/legacy-workflows

iMario's current homepage starts research from **New Task**. Earlier documentation described other entry points and outputs. Use this page to interpret old bookmarks without assuming all past controls remain available.

## Saved task canvases

The older node-based task route still exists for saved tasks. It connects a Discussion Guide to an Audience and Report, or a Post to a Quick Test. This is different from the current task composer and conversation results.

If you are already working in a saved canvas, inspect its own inputs and run state. Do not apply the current conversation instructions blindly to that older screen. For a new study, follow [Your first study](https://imario.ai/docs/getting-started/quickstart).

## Solo Mode

The old homepage Audience/Solo dropdown is no longer the default creation entry. New audiences use **From your data** or **From iMario**. Existing individual sources and their cards are described in [Individual sources](https://imario.ai/docs/synthetic-individuals/create).

## LinkedIn and personality-test imports

Older guides that start with a LinkedIn profile or a personality test describe source-specific individual creation. Those routes are legacy workflows. For current group research, use [Choose an audience](https://imario.ai/docs/audiences/choose) or [Build an audience from your data](https://imario.ai/docs/audiences/build-from-data). For an existing completed result, select a respondent in [Explorer](https://imario.ai/docs/run-and-analyze/explorer) and use the chat icon on the respondent's card (labeled **Chat with** and their name) for a focused follow-up.

## Individual pages and Knowledge Base

Saved individual pages and Knowledge Base instructions belong to older source-specific workflows. Their historical records may remain available under the legacy routes, but new research material belongs in [Library](https://imario.ai/docs/materials/library), audience evidence belongs in [Build from data](https://imario.ai/docs/audiences/build-from-data), and connected systems belong in [Audience Connections](https://imario.ai/docs/audiences/connections/connect-data-system). Do not create a new individual or Knowledge Base merely to start a current research task.

## Standalone Studio

Earlier Studio guides described a separate canvas, Face-off tournament, three-reviewer verdicts, automatic variants, a prediction ledger and day-3/day-7 reminders. Those are not the current New Task workflow. A sidebar project is an organizational container, not evidence that those Studio features are enabled.

Current routes for related work are:

- [Preference tests](https://imario.ai/docs/research/preference-test) for comparing alternatives.
- [Creative tests](https://imario.ai/docs/research/creative-test) for image reactions.
- [URL feedback](https://imario.ai/docs/research/url-feedback) for a rendered page.
- [Validate with real world data](https://imario.ai/docs/run-and-analyze/validate) for comparing with real evidence.

These are related tasks, not a promise of identical legacy behavior or integrations.

## Old price tables

Earlier guides quoted 500 free credits, 20-credit individual creation, bundled reports and a 50-credit Deep Dive upgrade. Use [current pricing](https://imario.ai/docs/workspace/pricing) for new research. Historical transactions retain their original labels.

If a saved workflow has no clear current equivalent, contact [Support](https://imario.ai/docs/resources/support) with its URL and the result you need.
