# Connect a Data Warehouse

> Use an authorized warehouse source to build audience evidence.

Source: https://imario.ai/docs/audiences/connections/connect-warehouse

Use **Connect warehouse** when governed customer or research data is stored in BigQuery, Snowflake or another supported warehouse. Select only the project, database, schema and fields required for the audience.

## Connect and select data

1. Open **Audience**, start a new audience and choose **From your data**.
2. Choose **Connect warehouse** and authorize the intended account or project.
3. Select the approved table, view or query source.
4. Review identifiers, field types, row coverage and source dates.
5. Resolve uncertain mappings before choosing **Review & Create**.

Keep the source definition and query assumptions with the audience record. A warehouse table may contain attributes without the context needed to interpret a new opinion question. Review the resulting population and example people before running research.

## Access and removal

Limit authorization to the intended warehouse scope. Remove the source from the audience or revoke authorization when access should stop. Review any existing reports before changing the source. See [Data and privacy](https://imario.ai/docs/workspace/data-and-privacy) and [Review and update an audience](https://imario.ai/docs/audiences/review-and-update).
